Pend Oreille County Fire Protection District #6

Fire District #6 welcomes all district residents to join us in providing emergency services to our community.  If you are interseted in volunteering with the district please contact us at your convience.  Below are some of the general requirements for active membership in the District.

Desired Volunteer Requirements;

a.   Reside within Pend Oreille County Fire District #6 or within a reasonable amnount of time from the district.

b.   Must be 18 years of age, 16 if enrolled in a Junior Fire Program.

c.   Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, unless enrolled in a Junior Fire Program.

d.   Firefighters and EMT's must pass theDistrict agility test.

e.   Firefighters and EMT's must pass a department medical examination.

f.   Must Have a valid Washington State drivers license.

g.   Must be able to read, write, and speak the english language.
